Flowing into this stream are about 22 small streams originating from forests and ravines. Hence, the stream always murmurs and echoes all four seasons. To facilitate the movement, residents living nearby have made small bridges across the stream beside the ancient trees, contributing to the beauty of the stream and also attracting a lot of tourists to Sapa.

Throughout the length of the stream, there are many waterfalls with white stones seemingly created and arranged elaborately by an invisible hand. Notably, the vast and flat stream section in Ta Van has become an ideal bathing place for travelers.
